Farm Shops Near Rock, Cornwall

A trip to a local farm shop is one of the nicest ways to stock the fridge at TREALLEN ROCK — proper local produce, none of the supermarket run, and usually somewhere good for a coffee while you're there. Here are our favourites, all within about 10 miles.

Restharrow Farm Shop, Trebetherick

The closest of the lot — tucked between Rock and Daymer Bay, just a couple of miles from TREALLEN ROCK. A small, family-run farm shop specialising in seasonal vegetables: potatoes, purple sprouting broccoli, red cabbage, beetroot, leeks, kale and sprouts, most of it grown right there. Restharrow is also the main external supplier to the local Camel CSA box scheme, so you're genuinely buying what came out of the ground that week.

St Kew Farmshop, St Kew

Just off the A39, a short drive from Rock, St Kew Farmshop has become a proper destination in its own right for locals and visitors alike. Beyond the shop itself, the on-site cafe serves a genuinely good seasonal breakfast and lunch menu, plus the kind of homemade cakes worth planning a stop around.

Pentruse Farm Shop, near Wadebridge

A small, quiet farm shop in the countryside near Wadebridge, particularly worth the trip for the meat counter — home-reared lamb, grass-fed beef, pork sausages and marinated chicken, alongside homemade quiches, pies and cakes. Good for stocking up before a night in rather than eating out.

The Arc, Wadebridge

A smaller, more curated food store right in Wadebridge, focused on quality and artisan products rather than a huge range. Handy to combine with a wider trip into town, if you're already heading that way for the shops or a wander along the Camel Trail.

Trevathan Farm Shop & Restaurant, St Endellion

Near Port Isaac, and a genuinely good option if you've got kids in tow — alongside a well-stocked farm shop selling their own beef and lamb, homemade jams and Cornish cheeses, there's a play area, animals to visit, and pick-your-own strawberries in season. The restaurant does a popular Sunday roast and does cream teas properly, and there's now a dog-friendly cafe area too.

Sea View Farm Shop, St Teath

A little further out, on the B3144 between Delabole and Port Isaac, Sea View Farm Shop makes the most of its name — a butchery and farm shop with home-reared beef, pork and lamb, fresh fruit and veg, and a good range of Cornish cheeses, all attached to a café with genuine sea views toward Port Isaac. Worth combining with a day out that way rather than a special trip on its own.
